Botany Lane Greenhouse obtains Veriflora certification

Per a press release, Botany Lane has been certified by Veriflora Sustainably Grown by “meeting the highest levels of performance under the three internally recognized pillars of sustainability: environmental stewardship, social responsibility and economic stability.”

“We are very proud of this certification as it validates all the hard work we are doing as a company to align our practices with the Veriflora standards to keep us focused on sustainability within our community,” Scott Fulton, general manager at Botany Lane, per the release.

To earn the certification, Botany Lane “Botany Lane successfully exhibited healthy, safe and fair working conditions, protection of soil and water resources, responsible agrochemical use, energy efficiency, climate impact reduction, ecosystem protection, product quality, and community engagement.” Currently, Botany Lane has three facilities in Texas and Colorado where they propagate and grow plants in liners and finished sizes, including annuals, perennials, succulents, herbs & veggies, tropical flowering and foliage.

It grows varieties from Proven Winners, Hollywood Hibiscus, Diamantina Mandevilla, Plant Select its own brands: Just Dig It, Mile High Succulent Collection, and Mile High Closer to the Sun Perennial Collection. Botany also recently announced a new line of premium vegetables and herbs named, “Flavor Table” and a foliage collection named, “Simply Simple”.
