The International Plant Propagators' Society is planning its first North American Summit.

The virtual event will take place Oct. 27-29 and is a collaboration of the three North American regions of the International Plant Propagators’ Society.

After the cancellation of their regional conferences in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the regional leadership decided on a joint conference to offer a broader perspective for its members.

The event will have the same components members have come to expect from an IPPS meeting, including nursery tours, student competitions and educational sessions from IPPS members.

The summit will be split up by days, with event programming for Oct. 27 and 28 being planned by the Eastern and Southern regions, respectively and Oct. 29 for the Western region. The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Oct. 27 and 28 and from 3 to 6 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 29.

The educational schedule has yet to be finalized, but sessions are expected from Dr. Michael Dirr, Dr. David Creech and Dr. Denny Werner.

All sessions will be recorded to view anytime at no cost to IPPS members.

Registration will be free for IPPS members and will be available soon. Check your region’s website for more details as they become available. Eastern RegionSouthern Region; Western Region.
