Calla lilies and begonia tubers

Each year, at Spring Trials time, Golden State Bulb Growers holds a California Callas Demonstration Trial. Thousands of different sized pots of over 50 varieties of Callafornia Callas are forced in accord with Golden State Bulb Growers’ cultural recommendations. Varied tuber combinations and pot sizes are demonstrated in an effort to assist producers in determining optimal profits for their varied target markets. Cut flower production is also demonstrated, as well as various other products offered.

Golden State is also displaying a number of varieties at this year's California Spring Trials. The stop at their display included calla lilies and begonia tubers. Calla lilies are increasing in popularity and experiencing a strong upward trend in expanding markets.
