HGTV HOME Plant Collection announces 2014 consumer marketing program

The program includes national TV, national and regional print and geo-targeted digital and mobile ads.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Consumer marketing and advertising for the HGTV HOME Plant Collection will take the brand to new levels of exposure across a range of media in 2014, according to Sarah Hayes, Marketing Manager of Agricola Management Group, exclusive licensee for the Plant Collection. Agricola also handles marketing and advertising for the expanding Plant Collection. A leading home and lifestyle brand, HGTV worked in conjunction with Agricola Management Group to develop the HGTV HOME Plant Collection, including Expressions Annuals, Essential Perennials and the Smart and Stylish Shrub line.

“Our consumer marketing program for 2014 is designed to achieve maximum exposure to consumers in our various markets across the country,” says Hayes. “We are taking full advantage of a range of broadcast and print media as well as digital, mobile and public relations to build awareness of the consumer advantages and the depth and breadth of this exceptional Plant Collection.”

The HGTV HOME Plant Collection will be featured in national TV spots on HGTV and the DIY Network in April and May of 2014 as well as print ads in HGTV Magazine. Print ads will also appear in regional shelter and garden magazines in March, April, May and June.

A reflection of digital and mobile media’s growing popularity and influence, the Plant Collection will also appear in geo-targeted digital content on HGTV.com, DIYnetwork.com, hgtvgardens.com and Facebook in April and May. Geo-targeted mobile banner ads will run on mobile devices around select retail locations during a similar 8-week flight in April and May.

Local TV and public relations round out the program, with DMA-targeted local TV based on product in April and May while the public relations effort will center around consumer-focused press releases on product availability around specific retailers.
