It has been well documented that gardening and simply being outdoors is good for you, but a recent study shows that for people more than 60 years old, gardening and household chores can extend their lives, according to an article from BBC News.
The study, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, showed that people who performed daily tasks around the home and garden reduced their risk of heart disease, stroke and more without strenuous exercise.
