‘Lemon Squeeze’ performs in the garden like other Pennisetum selections but stands out with its chartreuse gold leaves. In midsummer, copper seedheads provide additional color, interest and texture. Market for use in full sun for the brightest gold color.
It grows 3½ feet tall and 4½ feet wide. It’s hardy in Zones 5-9. Use as a border plant, in containers, en masse and even in a cut flower or cut foliage garden.
‘Lemon Squeeze’ is purported to be deer resistant.
