The traditional approach to powering LED lighting in greenhouses and indoor farms, which involves having a power supply or driver attached to every light fixture, is wasteful and expensive. Using a centralized power source outside the grow area can significantly reduce the installation or conversion costs as well offering substantial ongoing savings on power consumption and HVAC costs. This presentation will illustrate those savings using financial models and figures validated by customers.
