Dr. Jandricic will go over effective management of thrips in spring crops, from planning to pocketbook. This talk will cover preventative measures you can take, the importance of proper thrips identification, and how to implement a successful biologically-based IPM program. This talk will draw heavily from grower experiences in Canada, where thrips are managed without conventional pesticides to produce high quality crops with fewer pesticide residues.
