The theme for the 2011 Seeley Conference is “Floriculture’s Biggest Opportunity: Creating Consumer MindShare.” Scheduled for June 26-29 at Cornell Univ. in Ithaca, N.Y., the conference will focus on different opportunities the floriculture industry can exploit to capture the attention (aka MindShare) and dollars of consumers. These include a look at current consumer behavior, the power of plants and flowers, social media, brands, eco-consciousness and community involvement.
