The ACT Summit (Advancing Cultivation Technology) group announced its 2026 event series, bringing together greenhouse growers and industry partners across Canada to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of controlled environment agriculture.
With rising energy costs, increasing production demands and a growing focus on operational efficiency, the 2026 ACT events will highlight practical strategies to help growers build resilient operations while maintaining consistent crop quality and profitability.
The 2026 ACT event schedule includes three regional events across Canada’s key greenhouse markets:
Leamington, Ontario (Registration now open; click here to register)
- March 31, 2026
- Roma Club
Langley, British Columbia (Registration opening soon)
- May 6, 2026
- Northview Golf & Country Club
Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec (Registration opening soon)
- September 9, 2026
- Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe
Each event will begin at 11:30 a.m., with a warm lunch served to all attendees, kicking off the day’s program and providing a chance for growers, partners and experts to connect before education sessions begin.
Following lunch, attendees will participate in an afternoon of industry-focused sessions designed to encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration and open discussion.
Topics will center on energy management, efficiency improvements and strategies for adapting to an increasingly high-demand growing environment, touching on climate management, lighting strategies, resource optimization and actionable techniques growers can apply in their operations.
Each event will conclude with a happy hour networking reception, offering growers and partners the opportunity to continue conversations, strengthen relationships and celebrate the day’s learning in a relaxed setting.
