‘Sangria’ is an Agastache mexicana that Jelitto Perennial Seeds is offering from seed. It is a first-year-flowering perennial.
‘Sangria’ has elliptical, lemon-scented leaves and clusters of arching, red-purple blossoms. Flowers are stacked on top of one another whorled on 18-inch stems. Leaves are aromatic, and flowers are edible.
‘Sangria’ thrives in dry soils. Plants should be pinched once to keep them compact and branching.
Plants reach 48 inches tall and are hardy in Zones 7-10.
