ST. PAUL, MINN. – Bailey Nurseries is announcing the appointment of Amanda Harper as the National Accounts Manager for Lowe’s. She has many years of experience working with the retailer, most recently managing programs on the annual side of their horticultural offering. Amanda will be working with Lowe’s directors and regional buyers to present regionally-appropriate branded programs for the entire United States. Her focus will be shrubs from the Endless Summer Hydrangeas, First Editions Plants and Easy Elegance Roses collections.
“As a leader in the woody category, this position will allow us to work closely with national directors and regional buyers at Lowe’s, presenting programs that will ensure their success with all plant products,” says Marc McCormack, director of sales and marketing at Bailey Nurseries. “Our depth and collective knowledge as a company, nationwide, allows us to execute programs that are backed by sales data and consumer research.”
In conjunction with her direct responsibilities with Lowe’s, Amanda will be working with each brand’s network licensees to ensure the supply chain fulfills nationwide distribution of the branded programs for Lowe’s stores. In turn, this role manages indirect sales of Bailey Nurseries’ plants while JoAnn Kern, Bailey Nurseries' strategic accounts manager, will continue direct sales to Lowe’s in Bailey's distribution segments.
Amanda will be based in Mooresville, N.C. and will be starting on Jan. 3, 2017.
