The deadline to register for this year’s America in Bloom community beautification contest is Feb. 28. Seventeen communities have already registered for this year’s contest.
Benefits of the competition include increased community involvement, increased civic pride, decreased vandalism and crime and various economic gains. The contest can be used to generate enthusiasm and education for community wide improvement projects. It serves communities as a unifier for various non profits, corporations, private citizens for a common goal.
