Aris Horticulture consolidates its Florida facilities

New greenhouses to be built at Fort Myers location

Aris Horticulture Inc. is consolidating its two Florida production operations and constructing 239,580 square feet of new greenhouses at its Fort Myers facilities. Aris’ Parish, Fla., facility, which is the smaller and older of the two locations, will be closed in phases and will cease operation around the end of this year.
The new greenhouses are expected to be fully operational by the end of the year. No changes will occur to the company’s product mix, which includes Keepsake azaleas, tropical hibiscus, mandevilla, potted roses and a rooted garden mum and aster program.
Aris president and CEO Bill Rasbach said the new greenhouses and consolidation to one location would provide improved growing conditions and efficiencies in transportation.
