Aris Horticulture Inc. (formerly Yoder Brothers) is selling its growing operation in Pendleton, S.C. The greenhouses served primarily as a rooting facility for garden mums, annuals, perennials and poinsettias.
The 56+ acre property has 6.3 acres of total growing area, including over 9 acres of greenhouses as well as outdoor production. The facility is equipped with: a 100% water recapturing/treatment system, a 2½-acre lined pond (8 million gallon capacity), 3 back-up generators, a 40,000-gallon propane heat back-up system, 2 coolers measuring a total of 11,090 sq. ft. and nearly 75,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space, including a 7,500 sq. ft. shipping area. The site can be expanded to accommodate another 4 acres of greenhouses.
Asking price for the operation is $2.85 million. An open house of this turn-key facility will be held on April 27.
