MINOTOLA, NJ – ArizonaEast, a producer of easy care, water wise cacti and succulents headquartered in Southern New Jersey, announced the opening of their second facility located in Apopka, Fla. on Oct. 5.
"Expansion into one of the largest horticultural hubs in the country offers two key benefits to customers: one, ArizonaEast is taking advantage of Florida’s warm, humid environment to expand the company’s plant offering; and two, the additional shipping point expands ArizonaEast’s reach into new territories in a push toward national distribution," according to the release.

“Our expansion into Apopka is a boon to our production and distribution capabilities,” says Brian Vitale, Co-Founder and CEO of ArizonaEast. “Not only are we now able to deliver product more efficiently into the Southeast, but adding 110,000 square feet of greenhouse space in Florida greatly enhances our ability to grow a wider selection of product to better meet the diverse needs of our retail partners.”
Industry veteran Don Gator has joined ArizonaEast to assist with the Southeastern expansion by overseeing shipping, logistics and brokering at the Apopka facility. Formerly of Gator Plant Company, Don brings more than four decades of experience to his new role, and, as of Oct. 12, customers of Gator Plant Company are to be serviced by ArizonaEast in perpetuity.
