Ball Horticultural Co. in West Chicago, Ill., has acquired the assets and manufacturing facilities of DP Foods LLC and the rights to market Daniels brand plant nutrition products. DP Foods manufactures Daniels organically-based plant food products for commercial growers, landscapers and consumers. Ball has been a distributor of Daniels plant food.
Ball will operate DP Foods from its current headquarters and manufacturing plant in Sherman, Texas, and will retain its current employees.
