From Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, the 19th FLOWERS IPM in Moscow will offer the trade visitors a widespread exhibition range from plants via technology and sales promotion right up to floristry. More than 450 exhibitors from 26 countries will present their products and services in the All Russian Exhibition Centre at the joint event of Russia's horticultural fair with the richest tradition and the world's premier fair IPM ESSEN.
Visitors and exhibitors can look forward to a comprehensive and international overview of the market. Exhibitors from China, Denmark and Turkey will be represented; South Korea will be involved for the first time with twelve firms on a cooperative booth covering over 100 square metres. Leading plant producers from Italy and suppliers of horticultural technology from the Netherlands have also confirmed their participation. German exhibitors will present themselves on a cooperative booth, promoted by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.
With the BGI Trade Center, Verband des Blumen-Groß- und Importhandels e.V. ("Association of the Wholesale and Import Flower Trade") will, as a longstanding partner of IPM ESSEN, also be involved in FLOWERS IPM Moscow. "Verband des Blumen-Groß- und Importhandels e.V. (BGI) and Messe Essen have been connected by a trusting partnership for a long time. This connection has led to the successful networking with the BGI Trade Center at IPM. Thus, it was only logical for BGI to now actively present itself also as an exhibitor at FLOWERS IPM," Frank Zeiler, Chief Executive Officer of BGI, greets BGI's own fair booth at FLOWERS IPM in Moscow. Due to the participation, BGI will be able to offer its members and exhibitors from the BGI Trade Center the same good service as in Germany and make it easier to gain access to the Russian market, explains Zeiler further. The Russian market is one of the very dynamic export markets and has a high growth potential. FLOWERS IPM will
therefore be an ideal networking platform and will give companies the possibility of establishing new trade relations.
"The cooperation with Messe Essen in Moscow will provide BGI with another important pillar in its international network and thus, at the same time, with the possibility of representing European interests efficiently," according to Zeiler.
