In this workshop, hosted by Rosa Raudales and Charles Krasnow from UConn Extension, growers will learn how to properly implement a biocontrol program from the practical experience of a grower and industry leaders, the new tools and products in the biocontrol industry, and how to train the staff to seek and find pests and insects.
The conference, suited for commercial growers producing ornamental plants in greenhouses and nurseries, will be located in the Jones Auditorium, The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, 123 Huntington St., New Haven, Connecticut.
Registration is $70 per person and includes a boxed lunch and six pesticide recertification credits for Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New England states for certain presentations.
