BioSafe Systems recently hired a new team member to focus primarily on new product development, including vendor relations. Melissa Carserino comes to BioSafe from Chemtura Corporation, where she worked as a Technical Sales Service Engineer and Product and Market Analyst, according to a press release from BioSafe Systems.
Melissa graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in chemical engineering and then obtained a master’s in business administration from Rensselaer Poly Tech University. She is currently enrolled in the Project Manager Professional Program.
In her new role, Melissa will work to engineer and develop revolutionary new products to add to our extensive product line for agriculture, horticulture and meat and poultry. She will also assist in the day-to-day management of production and procurement schedules.
Melissa says, “I’m excited to join a company that focuses on environmentally responsible pathogen control solutions. The story behind the company is one that I admire and I hope to continue to help BioSafe Systems grow.”
