BioSafe Systems has announced the addition of ZeroTol 2.0 to the OMRI Products List, according to a press release.
OMRI, the Organic Materials Review Institute, has determined that according to the USDA National Organic Program, ZeroTol 2.0 is now cleared for use in organic production, processing and handling.
“This certification is a new milestone for BioSafe,” says Paul Gallo, Marketing Brand Manager for Turf & Ornamentals, “ZeroTol 2.0 is our oldest and most well-known greenhouse product, and has now found its way onto the OMRI List.”
This news is in addition to BioSafe’s other recent update about ZeroTol 2.0 in March of this year, which amended the product’s label to include applications on greenhouse fruits and vegetables as a foliar, drench or fog treatment. This update also included the use of ZeroTol 2.0 on hydroponically grown crops.
*ZeroTol 2.0 is not yet approved for use on food crops in the state of California.
