Clean Light was named No. 20 on Syntens’ Top 100 List of Innovation Awards for 2011. Syntens, a Dutch small and medium-sized business consulting organization, announced the awards that recognize cutting edge technology from Dutch companies.
Clean Light BV invented and patented UV crop protection. This technology makes it possible to combat mold, bacteria and viruses without chemicals that affect horticultural and agricultural crops. This treatment leaves no residue on the plants and it does not create extra moisture in greenhouses.
Clean Light received the award for developing a Home & Garden mini crop protector based on the ultraviolet light technology. Its compact design is targeted for both amateur and professional gardeners.
