Converted Organics is acquiring TerraSphere Systems, which designs, builds and operates vertical farming systems. The systems consist of vertically-stacked modules that can produce fruits and vegetables in a controlled, indoor environment year-round.
Converted Organics produces all-natural, organic soil amendment and fertilizer products through food waste recycling. The company uses high temperature liquid composting to process biodegradable food wastes into dry pellet and liquid concentrate organic fertilizers.
