Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouses has named Mike Vallafskey as its new chief executive officer. Vallafskey joined Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouses in November 2021. Dan Totushek and Jerry Quaal will continue to be actively involved through the transition period and then continue to serve on the board of directors.
Prior to joining Dan & Jerry’s, Vallafskey spent 18 years at T.O. Plastics, serving as its president for the last 12 years. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales with AgriNomix. “We are very excited to bring Mike on board as CEO of Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouse,” said Totushek. “His vast leadership and industry experience will enhance our exceptional management team and support our ultimate goal of serving our valued customers.” Mike earned his BA degree from Hamline University and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Dan & Jerry’s has also acquired Pineview Greenhouse in Kalamazoo, Michigan, allowing the company to better serve their customers in the eastern U.S. Dan & Jerry's Dan Tschirhart will manage the greenhouse.
