Syngenta in Greensboro, N.C., has named Dan Steltz marketing manager for Lawn and Landscape. He will be responsible for all Syngenta marketing programs and initiatives for the company’s lawn care, ornamental production and vegetation management customer groups.
Steltz joined the company in 2004 as a planning and forecasting manager; in 2006 he worked in the Golf & Landscape and Consumer divisions, most recently as market manager for vegetation management and specialty.
“Dan Steltz’s proven record of success within the Syngenta organization has given him the type of experience that will prove invaluable for his leadership role in the professional lawn care, and the greenhouse and nursery markets,” says Scott Reasons, head of marketing, Syngenta Golf & Landscape and Consumer.
