David Austin Roses has launched a U.S. collection of Luxury Garden Rose Bouquets that are available online year-round for overnight delivery by Federal Express. The collection features 7 new garden varieties, each bred for its cut flower attributes, including flower form and color, long strong stems and long vase life. The initial 7 varieties include 4 heavily perfumed roses: clear pink ‘Phoebe’, creamy-white ‘Patience’, deep pink ‘Cymbeline’ and blush-pink ‘Rosalind’. The other 3 are lightly fragrant: peach-hued ‘Juliet’, rose-pink ‘Miranda’ and raspberry red ‘Darcey’. There are 21 different bouquet styles, each with 12 roses. The bouquets are priced from $80-$125, depending on the bouquet style. Shipping is extra and is dependent on location. The roses are produced hydroponically by Green Valley Floral, a VeriFlora-certified sustainable greenhouse grower in Monterey, Calif. The online bouquets are not routinely sold by florists, but larger rose orders can be sourced via florists for special projects, events or weddings.
