Dig In Chicago filmed a sponsored segment for an upcoming episode on Burpee Home Gardens new BOOST collection in May at Ball Horticultural Co.’s research facilities in Elburn, Ill. Dig In is a weekly TV show and webcast that showcases Chicagoland’s local gardens, food and issues. It reaches 1.5 million households in the Chicago TV market.
Dig In hosts Mike Nowak and Jennifer Brennan toured the research greenhouses and interviewed Doug Lemley, product manager for Ball Horticultural Co., about the story behind the BOOST collection and its benefits for a healthy lifestyle.
In the Dig In segment on BOOST, the show explores the inspiration behind the new collection, which was specially selected by Burpee Home Gardens to meet shoppers’ desires for healthy choices. BOOST is available this year at independent garden centers nationwide.
The episode first aired on Saturday, June 2, and will air again on June 14. Dig In Chicago broadcasts on Comcast Channel 102 on Saturdays at 10 a.m. CDT. Weekly webisodes can be viewed online at www.mydiginchicago.com and at its channel on YouTube.
