The Ecke Ranch in Encinitas, Calif., will hold a poinsettia trial open house, Nov. 29-Dec. 3 from 8 a.m.-4.p.m. by appointment. Some of the plants and programs on display include: cold grow and high density production programs; Jubilee-Trial 1139 (the next generation Prestige), table top forms and other next generation cultivars; true upright cultivars; retail programs (i.e., Polar Bear) and combination planters of monoculture and mixed species.
