Emerald ash borer found in West Virginia

The EAB is on the move and was discovered for the first time in West Virginia in November. USDA-APHIS confirmed the pest in Fayette County, W.Va. When the infested tree’s bark was stripped, more EAB larvae were found. The pest likely hitch-hiked on infested firewood.
