The latest edition of Emerald Coast Growers’ new variety Resource Guide is now available.
“We continue to see creative uses and growth in ornamental grasses, from varieties to replace turf to increased activity in infertile breeding,” Sales Manager Cheri Markowitz says. “Plus, natives continue to see lots of activity, with an ongoing effort to give native favorites more uniformity and more ornamental characteristics.”
More than 50 new perennials plus new ornamental grasses and succulents join the collection this year.
A few to take note of are Miscanthus Red Cloud PPAF, an award-winner in Europe Pennisetum, Yellow Ribbons, a brighter, lighter version of industry-standard ‘Hameln’ Sedum ‘Atlantis’, and Veronica ‘Bubblegum Candles’, with their hot color and long bloom time.
The print catalog works together with the company’s extensive online database which includes current availability, descriptions, zones, culture, usage and more.
