The International Gateway entrance to the Epcot resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., will be transformed into the 1st Annual Performance Trials held in conjunction with the Floriculture Field Days conference, May 12-13. Spring is an ideal time to evaluate plants for garden performance under the heat and humidity of Florida's climate. There will be 39 landscape beds showcasing plants from 21 breeders and plant supply companies. Each variety will be evaluated by Disney's horticulture team and results will be available.
In addition to the trials, there will be two days of educational sessions presented by horticulture industry professionals. Topics to be covered include:
