Flowers Canada Growers is pleased to announce that Laura Bryce has accepted a position as a Regional Extension Coordinator for British Columbia. In this role Laura, will be managing a biocontrol project intended to increase adoption and technical comprehension of biological control agents in greenhouse floriculture. Laura has worked in the greenhouse industry for many years including as a facility manager and head grower at Village Farms in Delta BC. Most recently, Laura has worked with Kwantlen Polytechnic University as an adjunct professor and will continue in this role as well as leading the biocontrol project alongside floriculture farmers scheduled to commence shortly. Laura will also have an opportunity to liaise with BC floriculture farmers and support the goals of United Flower Growers and FCG.
