April 1, 2017 is the deadline for submission of grant proposals for research and educational projects in floriculture and related fields such as plant pathology, plant breeding, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, entomology and plant physiology related to floriculture at universities, colleges and federal research institutions in the United States.
Grant proposals approved by the board at the annual meeting of the Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation, Inc. in early June are paid in August. Since 1961, the foundation has distributed $6,656,657.95 to institutions nationwide.
