Gaillardia aristata

Gaillardia aristata Granada is an S&G Flowers exclusive.

Plants will reach 12-16 inches tall in the garden. They prefer full sun.

Granada is a first-year-flowering perennial that is hardy in Zones 3-9. Flowers appear from midspring through fall. They are bright-yellow daisy types with deep-crimson centers.

Plants can be sown twice a year: from December to February or from July to September. With the latter dates, they can be overwintered in a cold frame. Either way, plants should be transplanted in spring into packs or pots for spring and summer sales.
