After nearly a decade at Profile Products, Gladys Opiyo has been promoted to director of sales, North American growers for the Profile Growing Solutions team.
In this new role, Opiyo will lead the company’s grower division sales team with a continued focus on delivering value-driven solutions to greenhouse and nursery customers across the continent.
“Anyone who has worked with Gladys knows she is a strategic thinker, collaborative leader and incredibly hard worker — and she does it all with a smile,” said Brian Patterson, vice president of sales. “Her ability to connect with customers and coach our team members has made a lasting impact, and I’m confident she’ll continue to elevate our performance in the grower market.”
Opiyo has over 15 years of experience in the horticulture industry. Since joining Profile in 2017 as a product representative, she has held several management roles, earning a reputation for cultivating strong customer relationships, mentoring regional sales managers and driving sustained growth with strategic accounts. Opiyo also played a key role in organizing and executing successful product trials for HydraFiber, the company’s flagship wood fiber substrate product.
“Gladys’s commitment to both people and plants makes her the ideal leader for this role,” said Wes Martin, vice president of horticulture. “She understands what it takes to grow our business while supporting the success of our customers, and we’re excited to see how she leads this next chapter.”
