Companies wishing to learn more about the Canadian Horticultural Council's CanadaGAP On-Farm Food Safety Program can participate in a free, one-hour webinar that will provide an overview of the program, information on certification and a Q&A period.
The interactive webinar is being hosted by the Guelph Food Technology Centre (GFTC), an accredited certification body for the CanadaGAP program.
As an increasing number of buyers (including Loblaw Companies Limited, McCain Foods Canada, Simplot Canada, Lamb-Weston, Cavendish and others) require their suppliers to be CanadaGAP-certified, enrollment in the program continues to increase.
Heather Gale, the CanadaGAP national program manager of the Canadian Horticultural Council, and Stefanie Sonneveld, the CanadaGAP scheme manager of GFTC, will be the two speakers for this event.
