Neal Farnham has stepped down as North American Horticultural Supply Association (NAHSA) president. In accordance with the NAHSA bylaws, Richard Smith has now assumed the office of president and Charles Germano will fill the dual roles of treasurer and vice president until the NAHSA Annual Meeting in June. Smith will be the first manufacturer to serve as president and will begin serving his full one-year term during the annual meeting. Germano will assume the office of vice president at the annual meeting, and the board will also elect a new treasurer at that time.
This year will be the 25th NAHSA Annual Meeting, and will take place June 3-5, 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. To learn more visit www.nahsa.org.
