This year’s Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Foodservice Conference & Exposition is focused on helping the foodservice industry understand consumer demands and how to provide solutions that drive the use of fresh fruits and vegetables and increase profit. This year’s event will offer educational sessions, a live chef challenge using ‘half the plate’ guidelines to develop healthy kids’ menus that kids will enjoy and the chance to see new products and strengthen business relationships at the five-hour exposition. There will also be a golf tournament, 5K race, Women’s Fresh Perspectives reception and “behind the scenes” field and plant tours. The event will be held on July 20-22 in Monterey, Calif.
