An official launch event was held today at the demonstration site at the SunSelect Produce greenhouses in British Columbia for ProSelect’s GC6 Green Carbon Capture System, the world’s first carbon capture system for the greenhouse industry. The new technology is designed to heat greenhouse operations while simultaneously filtering pollutant emissions, capturing the carbon dioxide, and converting it into fertilizer to grow healthy fruits and vegetables. This innovation offers a completely sustainable, cost-effective and clean solution for commercial greenhouse operations.
The GC6 launch event commenced at 10:30 a.m. with presentations followed by an official ribbon cutting ceremony, facility tours and refreshments. Attendees included stakeholders, government officials, media and industry representatives.
