High tunnel manufacturer Haygrove is having its owner's conference Dec. 6. The event takes place at Lancaster Farm and Home Ctr, 1383 Arcadia Rd, Lancaster, Pa. Breakfast is available at 8 a.m. and the meeting runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free for Haygrove owners and a guest. For others, attending will cost $30.
This meeting is a “grower to grower” event where all the speakers are growers and researchers using Haygroves. They will give presentations on cultural methods, variety selection, yields and marketing. They will share their tunnel experiences on various crops.
Six speakers and two panels are planned for the event, featuring researchers and consultants including Graham Moore, Haygrove's own agronomist who is responsible for the company's 300 acres of fruit. Other speakers include growers and researchers from all over the U.S. who will discuss their management techniques for growing tomatoes, strawberries, peaches, flowers and other crops.
Non-owners are welcome at the conference, as well. Pre-registration is required for the free lunch. Please contact creisinger@haygrove.com for registration details.
