Some 20 years ago, Hem Genetics started breeding naturally dwarf varieties. These “Low Grow Approved” selections do not need any PGRs, which dovetails with the breeder’s goal of providing crops that are sustainably produced. Their multiflora petunias feature extra-large flowers that are vigorous growers in the garden. These are best suited for high-density production in packs or small pots. New to this year’s Mambo GP petunia series is Yellow Lime (a bright, sunny yellow) and a Pastel Mix.
