AUSTIN, Texas — Illumitex has announced the HarvestEdge horticulture LED grow lighting modular system. The HarvestEdge is designed for greenhouse supplemental and indoor primary grow lighting applications. When configured for supplemental greenhouse lighting with the high performance F3 spectrum (25 percent blue, 5 percent green, 75 percent photored), the system delivers nearly 30 percent more efficiency than competitive products, according to a press release.
While Illumitex’s unique thermal-fin design maximizes performance, it also enables a low-cost solution that delivers 20 percent more light for the same dollar, according to the release. The fixture is lightweight, thin, easy to install, has integrated power, and comes with wet, IP 67, ETL, and cETL certifications depending on modules, according to the release. It will be available for pre-sale June 11.
“Our HarvestEdge Toplight linear solution is class-leading in output, efficiency, and price,” said CEO Jeff Bisberg. “The end of traditional glass and filaments is here and with paybacks in months, LED is absolutely the way to go for your horticulture lighting needs. We’ve grown everything from Microgreens to flower and when done right LED’s grows better plants.”
“This is the future of horticulture lighting,” says John Spencer, SVP of sales and marketing. “This fixture now rivals all lighting on the market and will be the standard for LED grow lighting moving forward.”
The HarvestEdge will make its public debut at the industry premier event, Cultivate, in July. For more information on this fixture or any of Illumitex horticulture products, visit illumitex.com/products
