Univ. of Md. Extension is reporting a case of whiteflies found in Maryland greenhouses that appeared resistant to imidacloprid. Plants in other greenhouses that received both imidacloprid and Distance did not show any whitefly present. A sample of the resistant whitefly has been sent to Univ. of Calif. for identification of Bemisia tabaci biotype that was found on the plants.
