The National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association is mourning the passing of an esteemed member of the NGMA community, Jim Stuppy of Stuppy Greenhouse in North Kansas City, Missouri.
He passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the age of 79.
Stuppy was a long-time member of NGMA and served as treasurer for many years. He joined Stuppy, Inc., a wholesale floral and greenhouse supply company, as a fourth-generation owner.
"He was a valued member of our NGMA community and he will be greatly missed," NGMA said.
Stuppy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sue; four children; and 12 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
