Photo courtesy of K-State Research and Extension Admission is $5 per person at the gate, which includes cold bottled water, seminars, classes, and demonstrations. K-State Research and Extension horticulture researchers develop their lists of recommended flower and vegetable varieties through research conducted in Olathe to determine what grows best in Kansas City-area landscapes. Visitors can speak with university professors heading up the research and Johnson County Extension Master Gardener volunteers.
