KazAgro Finance is investing in the construction of Kazakhstan's largest greenhouse structure, valued at roughly $11.3 million.
The Times of Central Asia reports that "The greenhouse, with an area of 11 hectares, will start operating in the middle of this month (March). The new greenhouse complex will grow vegetables and will employ about 140 staff."
The report goes on: "The KazAgro national holding, which includes KazAgroFinance, has been financing projects to develop greenhouse complexes in Kazakhstan since 2008. Since then the holding has approved financing of 37 greenhouses worth a total of 33.5 billion tenge and annual production capacity of 50 thousand tons of vegetables."
