(LOUDON, NH) – Pleasant View Gardens is promoting Russ Knowles to the position of Regional Retail Account Manager, where he will manage relationships with independent garden centers in Northern New England. Knowles will help these retailers improve their sell-through and increase their profits.
“I understand the power of strong retail brands and how garden centers can profit from them”, Knowles says. “I am excited to represent Proven Winners, Proven Selections and ColorChoice.”
Knowles has 25 years of tenure with Pleasant View Gardens, having worked in several managerial and supervisory roles over the years. He has worked throughout the company, having started in 1990 in the production department on the cutting crew and as the shipping supervisor. From there, Knowles oversaw the quality and inventory control department for eight years and later went on to become a production manager. Knowles also spent four years as the transportation coordinator before moving into his role as an inside sales representative for the past three years.
“Russ’ years of experience at Pleasant View is a tremendous benefit to the customers he interacts with daily”, says Andy Huntington, national sales manager. “Russ is the perfect person to guide retailers through the extensive product lines Pleasant View offers and he has an amazing understanding of what makes for a high-performing plant.
