More than 700 baskets will adorn the city of Kokomo, Ind., courtesty of HGTV Plants.
The city has been selected as the showcase site for this year's products. Kokomo and HGTV have developed a strong relationship in recent months, with the company adding Kokomo-based Country Raisin's as a new annuals grower. The Kokomo Perspective newspaper reported that the Country Raisin's connection was the beginning of Kokomo's selection as showcase site.
The city of Kokomo started a beautification project eight years ago, and the move to showcase site could ratchet up the municipality's efforts.
