U.S. Botanic Garden and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at Univ. of Texas-Austin have partnered to produce a homeowner’s resource guide, “Landscape for Life”, based on the principles of the Sustainable Sites Initiative. The guide is designed for homeowners and others interested in using sustainable landscape practices in residential gardens and landscapes. Sustainable Sites Initiative is the country’s first rating system for sustainable landscapes.
