More than 200 guests, including growers, trade partners and industry leaders, gathered at Langendoen Mechanical’s recent open house to celebrate the company’s newest greenhouse build.

Held at Casa Orchids in Beamsville on Nov. 6, the event brought together members of Ontario’s greenhouse community for an afternoon of networking. Attendees explored heating, cooling and automation systems, connected with industry partners and enjoyed Niagara-inspired food and hospitality.

Special guests included Mayor Sandra Easton of the Town of Lincoln, who congratulated Casa Orchids and Langendoen Mechanical for their ongoing investment in Niagara’s growing greenhouse sector and for their role in supporting local employment and innovation.

“Our goal was to create an event that not only showcased the incredible work our team and partners do every day, but also strengthened the connections that make this industry so special,” said Dan Langendoen, president of Langendoen Mechanical. “Seeing so many of our clients and partners come together and share ideas and celebrate the progress we’re making together. That’s what makes this work meaningful.”

Michael Pang, owner of Casa Orchids, added, “Working with Langendoen Mechanical has been an excellent experience from start to finish. Their expertise, attention to detail and commitment to quality made this project a success. Hosting the open house here was a great way to show what’s possible when growers and contractors collaborate toward a shared vision.”

Trade partners, including CMS Electric, George de Groot Laser Grading & Excavating, O’Hara Trucking & Excavating and Tradewind Greenhouse Floor Systems contributed to the day’s success through displays and door prizes.

Guests also took part in a self-guided tour of the new facility. The tour is available online at langendoenmechanical.com/tour-guide.
